(1) The name, surname, rank and specimen of the signature of the official of the party authorized to provide the formal letter of nomination of the candidate on behalf of the party shall be verified by the official of that committee or the provincial committee designated by the central executive committee or similar committee of such party before the last date of filing the nomination paper for the candidate. The Commission shall provide the information to the Commission within the period specified by the Commission and the Commission shall send such details to the concerned Election Officer before the date specified for registration of nomination papers.
(2) In the event that the nomination paper is filed without complying with the procedure as per sub-section (1), such candidate shall not be recognized as a candidate of the party.
